Eleven Super Eagles players have arrived at the team's camp for AFCON 2025 preparations, with 12 more expected on Monday.
The Super Eagles camp for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is gradually filling up, with 11 players now in camp and 12 more expected to arrive on Monday. Among the early arrivals are goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Stanley Nwabali, as well as forward Ademola Lookman. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed that the remaining players, mostly those based in Europe, will join the team after completing their club commitments over the weekend. Head coach Jose Peseiro has outlined an intensive training program to prepare the team for the continental showpiece. Nigeria has been drawn in a tough group and will be looking to go all the way and win the trophy.
